For people who speak standard English, here is a translation of the new rule:
"Due to a rash of people posting Poser freebies without checking the links/thumbnails to make sure that the [associated thumbnail images are] working properly, any freebie posted that has a invalid thumbnail will be denied as of today."
Mods should be held to the highest standards of written Enlish, especially when it comes to explaining rules and procedures. I don't expect college-level grammar and sentence structure, but a simple check for synonyms should be in order. If you don't know the difference between "due"/ "do" and "they're"/ "their"/ "there" and "two"/ "too"/ "to" and "you're"/ "your", then learn it- there are plenty of online sites to brush up on high-shool level vocabulary. To be frank, rules that are full of misspellings, grammar errors, and wrong words look like a joke and make the site look extremely unprofessional.
An excuse of "You know I type that way, you know what I meant" is an open invitation for people to interpret the message however they please. You claim you meant one thing, the person claims that they didn't understand your garbled rule.
As a side note: if this mod doesn't bother (or is too lazy) to check the quality of a "new rule" message that he posts, how can we be sure that he's doing a good job checking the quality of the free stuff?
