solving MATs for unparented props Oh, what was the solution? Did you see that thread where VK successfully tested the other valueOps -- plus, minus, multiply, divide? Nope. Got a thread ID? Looks like a pz2 can only inject the things that a pz2 can inject, whether they are in a read or not Yup. I consider Poser to have only two filetypes, despite all the extensions. There are different 'rules' with some of the extensions (like hair) but overall there are two core types of file: Load files (pz3, pp2, cr2, hr2) Pose files (pp2, fc2, hd2) Cameras and lights seem to be a sort of hybrid, and don't perfectly follow form. They act like pose files except as regards lights and cameras. Anyhoo, pose files do not add to the scene they work as control scripts for the dials and settings already in the script. Load files, on the other hand, do add to the scene but do not (generally) affect the existing geometries in the scene. When you call a readScript from a pose file, it works like the contents are a pose file. When you call a readScript from a Load file, it works like the contents were a Load file. Thus my concept of pm4 materials above could be applied to CR2 files and MAT poses equally.
