Thanks, wow that sample was fast, I have no problem with People, creatures, or some props, but something that has to be exact dimensions is difficult for me. I think I will test out Wings and see if I can do it through that software. I need to make the Watch to exact dimensions because it will be made into a cad file for steriolithography. then it will be modeled out of metal. Dwmdesigner

In that case Wings probably is not for you. If you are going to bend metal, you need a percise app, probably a nurbs based package. I have not used it, but I'd suggest you check out Rhino. I love Wings, but that is not what it is meant for. jon

I don't think Anim8or would be any better for such a task than Wings is (and of the two, I'd use Wings). I think Amapi is a nurbs modeler, but I don't know if it supports the level of precision you would need. Perhaps an Amapi pro could chime in. If it would work there is/was a free version. But I no longer know where to find it. If you are going to press metal for this project it sounds more like it is work related than hobby related. I guess I'm just surprised that what you want to do and the price of Rhino don't intersect. jon

I am decent at modeling organic objects but I need to model a prop that looks like a Pocketwatch, it has some flat edges, few curves, and some bevels.
Any help or advice would be appreciated.
