I've had similar good experience with Richabri. The one time I had a problem with one of his items, I contacted himm and he got back to me right away and resolved the problem. I agree that good merchants deserve a little recognition.

In my experience (and I've bought a LOT of stuff here), most of the merchants are ASTONISHINGLY good. I've experenced nothing but helpfulness (sometimes above and beyond the call of duty) when I've had problems. I've had frequent free updates, some of which practically amount to a free, brand new product. What a big difference from certain other DOZy big-name companies who try to extract every last cent for every tiny upgrade and treat their customers like a necessary evil. For example, over the past 6 weeks or so I've posted about a half-dozen emails to a certain company allegedly famous for their customer support, trying to get a response from them. Not a single email has been either acknowleged or answered. That's just DAZtardly. But getting back to our 'local' merchants, I realised only yesterday that I'd been having so much fun with some of their products that I'd never bothered to leave feedback. I'm slowly remedying that situation. The guys here are really, REALLY great. Buy their stuff, and when you like it, leave them feedback. They really deserve it.

I had a really happy experience with a Renderosity merchant today, and felt compelled to note that publicly. Like a lot of us, I voice my little complaints about this or that at times, and hope to balance that with some positive vibes as well. This seemed like a good time to say "thank you" to the merchant, and to extend that thanks to all Renderosity merchants who truly care about how their products are received. I had some confusion about the Ichiro - Armor of the Ancients package, which I'd recently purchased. As it turns out, the confusion was entirely mine. I wrote to caleb68/DarkFaction regarding my issues. Because it's already a long holiday weekend here in the USA, I was prepared to wait several days for a response. But you know what? caleb68 responded within an hour with precise, clear instructions on how to deal with the issues I was having. Now that's customer service and tech support for ya! Way to go, caleb68! Now I can get on with composing the render I have in mind without waiting. Very cool. Happy camper over here. :-)
