Dodger, we don't know each other, but I was shocked to read your post. I'd like to wish you a speedy recovery, just try to hang on in there. I also agree with SothArtist and Genny regarding contributions - after all, this IS a community... I am sure that there are more people here who would be glad to provide some practical help - (just accept this, you are very well respected here).
