Hi Dodger, ooh sounds terrible. You need to rest as much as you can. I know for a fact that ultraviolet light kills that sort of staph so if you can get into the sun that would be great. I used to work with an orthopod and whenever one of his patients got that staff we had to take them out into the sunlight. It really worked. and if you're up to it, getting salt water up your nose in the sea and washing out the virulent staph might help. Hopefully you'll then be recolanized with a less virulent strain. that's the best I can think of without going into hospital for intravenous antibiotics. In the days before they had antibiotics, when people got TB it was a virtually a death sentence, but there were places called sanitoriums or something where they used to go to the mountains and live in the fresh air, and they were forced (sick as they were) to run along in the morning dew.
