I understand about the load time with our site, but please keep in mind that we are a 3D graphics COMPANY (12 years)and while I feel your pain (been there on the dial up myself) we must service the overall concerns of what we need to operate as a business. Even when we had dial up, our site was based on displaying our stock models and custom work with images. It's what we do!

Petunia, I have to ask... how in the world do you look around here on Renderosity (galleries, etc,) any easier? We fully understand that most of you are hobbyists and that our prices are a bit high for you. We are trying to accommodate you as best we can. I will say that Daz, who was built on and who built this market, does a superb job of servicing and accommodating your specific needs. They have built a very large customer base and volume sales allow them to keep their prices as low as they do. I hope you all appreciate what phenominal models you have for such rock bottom prices with DAZ. Their library is the cream of the crop and they are to be commended for it.

We primarily work in/with the 3ds/max community, but love the Poser program and have made a great many friends here through this fine venue (Renderosity.)

I do understand the pain of looking at heavy graphic based sites with dial up. We had it too and we haven't forgotten the agony before high speed internet access came on the scene so I can't say I blame you for "not going there"! ... I was down at a friend's house working one day and her access is dial up... After about 1/2 hour, I was about ready to shoot myself...or someone! ;)

To sum our up our position, I will make use of 2 overused cliches:

1. A picture is worth a thousand words.
2. You can please all of the people some of the time, or some of the peope all of the time, but you can't please all of the people on the Renderosity forums... EVER! HaHaHaHa.

We're really trying our best, believe me. We just thought it might be nice if we offered the fine peope we've come in contact with here, something out of the ordinary, at a price they can afford. If we had a larger contingent it MIGHT afford us the luxury of lowering our prices across the board to suit all of your needs/wants/budgets. Haven't seen that trend as yet, but we're working on it.
