The communities were created with new members in mind, but we want it to be useful to experienced members as well. It's a way to see everything in one particular area. Not all the communities are up yet, and Tommy is making some tweaks, so don't be surprised if you see a few differences over the next few days. I like the fact that you can use it but you aren't forced to use it. It's another way to view this site. Please feel free to post suggestions on what you'd like to see on the communities pages. It's new for us, too, so we're looking for ideas to make it as useful as possible for everyone. Cheers!
