I think they're useful. I don't spend that much time in here, so they help me filter out links that I probably won't use - without making me customize my view. If I want to see the full range of offerings (because for some reason I've found the time), I can always find them in the standard view. I've always thought that users should be offered multiple ways to do the same thing, thus allowing them to find the method they feel most comfortable with. evr
