I am fine with a "wait until it is finished" approach since the PC version caused so much of a mess. Not really sure why you have been poserless for a year unless you didn't use it that much to begin with. I wouldn't stop using a program that I used a lot just because a new version isn't out. Course that is also why I don't really use OSX (that and I am still not a big fan) because I don't have much that would run on it.
