Hang in there ... I have only had one contact with hives and that was on my dog (didn't know they could get them) but I woke up and pet her and she was bumpy fromhead to toe. had no clue what to do and I felt really bad because she mostly felt fine but no one wanted to touch her because quarter sized lumps just really aren't suppossed to be everywhere. It took a few days but she got better. Good luck with em and take care. Hate it when idiots show their true mode. Had a similar experience last year when I had my gall bladder out. Looked like garbage and someone asked me "how ya doin'?" .. just wanted to shake my head and ask how you think?" but was too gross at the time.
