I remembered this, too. A while back Glas made some posable dummies in Rhino(tired of having to use Poser to make correct proportions). Catlin kindly converted them to Bryce format for me, and I set them up for posing in Bryce. Glas is now hosting them, you might want to try them out. They don't look very realistic, but they come in handy.
