Ah ... a fellow film scanner user. I share your pain my brother. What can I do to help? I take it the manual is long gone? If so, go to the above link. This is the maker's driver/software download page for this model (I was looking at it when I found the Minolta Dimage scanner and got that instead - the Minolta has a 2820dpi res as opposed to the PF 1800i's 1800dpi). They also have a PDF file manual for the Cyberview X software that shows you how to scan using the 1800 series of scanners. If that's not the problem, let us know what it is ... we may be able to figure it out. -=>Donald
