For our non-German readers: We are just discussing that point 2 of my FAQ also applies for certain transmapped hair props and that the example image in the FAQ is not very representative. If anyone has a ready example of hair showing this render problem, I'd be happy to put such an image in the FAQ. I was using the square example mainly because it was the easiest way to reliably reproduce that artifact.
