Very difficult scene for exposing. [As the eye scans a scene like this in nature, the iris continually adjusts to compensate, and the mind interprets the details.] Sometimes a scene like this can be treated as an impression; perhaps here metering on the foreground shadow grass, and giving one stop MORE exposure. Everything would become pastel flash of light. [However, this depends on mood you want to create. Metering on the bright background grass, and giving one stop LESS exposure, would give a much different impression.] Trying to get this scene to look natural would likely be impossible. But natural isn't always the most fun. Try shooting at a different time of day.
