Subject: Importing 2 .obj files, saving as 1 combined object???

This is where the grouping tool comes in :) If you check the sphere and the cylinder, you will see that both have just the one material "Preview". So, when you combine them, the whole object has the same material called preview. Make sure your sphere (or whatever) is selected and go to the grouping tool. In the menu, select "assign new material" and give the material a name. Do the same for the cylinder, but give it a different name. Now you can spawn totally new props (using select material and spawn prop). Delete the originals, and you now have a cylinder with the material "cylinder_material" and a sphere with "sphere_material". Now you can go ahead and combine and export the props as detailed above. If you need more help with the grouping tool, please let me know and I'll do you a mini-tutorial (I'm starting a full-blown grouping tool tutorial this weekend, but its going to be several days before its finished) Paul
