All macs work with multi-button mice. They just don't ship with them in the box....so all you have to do is buy a multi-button mouse with a scroll wheel and plug it in and it works fine. Several of them are in tune with the mac graphite&carbon theming, such as this optical scroll mouse by kensington: http://www.kensington.com/html/1216.html or the bargain micro scroll optical mouse by macally: http://www.macmall.com/macmall/shop/detail.asp?dpno=965416 There is a mac counterpart for any pc peripheral you can think of pretty much. As for OSX, it is one of the most beautiful and well organized operating systems I have seen. It makes your computer feel much more pleasurable to sit in front of, because you know that navigating is so easy and beautiful. Another reason I choose mac is the reliability. I have never crashed OSX...ever...period. When an application crashes, only that application closes, everything else is fine. I've never had to have service or repairs done on this 2 year old G4 and it's running as crisply as when I bought it. My apple lcd is bright and clean, i never needed color calibration. I never needed to download drivers for anything new i bought, it even updates all the system software weekly on it's own. But the bottom line is I can count on it to do what I want when I want and how I want to do it. I don't have the patience to worry about dll files or uninstalling applications or reformatting. That's why I go with mac. My 2Cents.
