I'm not a Mac fan myself...I've always been a PC user and my PCs have had AMDs in them. I currently run a 1.4 GHz AMD and it's worked fine for me, outside of the fact that it runs hot. That's the one thing I don't really like. As for Mac's, their processors are much more streamlined in operation than AMDs and Intel's, therefore they run cooler, but until I HAVE to use a Mac, I'm gonna stick with my PC. There are pros and cons to both, everyone is going to have their likes and dislikes. MD (I always hated using Macromedia Authorware in college, no damn right click menus because it was designed for Mac. That drove me NUTS) Check out this parody page I did on that very same thing.
