up left- View of the outskirts of Brussels from the outside of a metro station along one of the main streets at dusk. low left- one of them churches... we saw so many, gonna take awhile to be able to figure which was which all over again. up right- Belgium is really famous for their chocolates, and here we can see a chocolate shop worker getting a little carried away with the wares for sale. low right- one of the most incredible sights in all of europe, watching 15 little 90 year old ladies making handmade lace (what Bruges is REALLY famous for). The one closest to the camera, handmade lace of about that size, when completed, will have had well over 90 hours of work put into it. Their hands just go completely mental, and i swear they are able to do this at lightning speed even when they aren't looking at what they're doing.
