I posted a new Stocking kit for Vicky in the Free Stuff section (Millie/Vicky). The kit contains 4 masks for existing Vicky-textures. Instructions are included (yes you have to do a little work too). As everyone who is posting stuff I'm interested in your opinions (and the works you do with it). Ciao Ralph

Your masks are great, but I am always having problems trying to get the stockings to glisten/reflect like real ones do - well they are made nylon! Any ideas, I have been fiddling with reflection maps but not to any great success.

Str_glossy.jpg Hi Dweemon, I guess this is what you mean. This was done in Bryce 4 using the mask #1 of my set as the alpha channel for the strength of reflection. The effect is a bit overdone to show it better. Hope I could help you Ralph

Thanks for the tip, that is exactly what I meant! I like the shoes, I myself have managed to adapt a pair of Jim Burton's six inch court shoes to fit Viki, they look great! However, I have come across a problem using Viki, Viki textures and Bryce 4 - the textures do not map correctly onto the figure.I have used the manual with Poser 4, but they still look like a jigsaw pattern, so what am I missing? Poser and Bryce can be so frustrating sometimes!! Dweemon

You are right, the combination Poser/Bryce is confusing sometimes. The mapping problem is frustrating sometimes because it can be solved only with handwork. Peter Sharpe has a good tutorial on that (www.petersharpe.com: The problem with Vicky). I think that will help at your problems. Ralph

Ralph, thanks, I think someone has already said it but this forum gets rid of those nasty problems that ruin a good creation, Dweemon
