Apple...poor...apple. 2% of the worldwide market. It is pretty ironic that Apple would go to IBM to make a processor for them. 8X AGP innovation? PC's had it for almost a year. Hyper-Transport Technology...wait isn't that AMD's technology? First to market with a 64 bit desktop? Not quite...BOXX Technologies launched an AMD Opteron on June 4th. For all of you Apple aficionados here a few threads that might be of interest. Gotta read the AMDZONE article very informative. www.amdzone.com/articleview.cfm?articleid=1296 This one is just plain funny. Apple caught with their pants down. www.digitalvideoediting.com/2003/06_jun/editorials/cw_editorial79.htm Hope this shows that the writting is on the wall. The MAC will become a museum piece someday soon. If you are wondering I use Bryce 5. I am not good at it. That is why I have never posted a scene. I do enjoy reading the forum. Hate to trash the Mac, but the PC's have been thrashed by Mac users for ages. Apple should have used AMD processors like they were rumored to have tried. Here is the link: http://the-inquirer.net/?article=4537 (Hammer was the codename for the Opteron(SledgeHammer) , and soon to be launched, September 23, 2003, ATHLON64 (ClawHammer) families. Enjoy the reading. Sorry to post this late in the thread. I have been studying for my A+ certification, and have been oblivious to the world for some time now. I just dished out $13k for my A+ and MCSE certifications. Please excuse the late response.
