Nop it wasn't that Dodger! Rather than fiddling about any longer I decided to scrap the pre-existing bones and build a new set_ no problem whatsoever.. so I conclude this was a glitch (small malevolent beastie that lives under one of the camera buttons on the Poser interface, and comes out occasionally with a large silver spanner..and chucks it in to the works....its rumoured that owing to the larger number of 'rooms' in the Poser5 interface a large extended family was able to move in prior to the release of this product.)
