I think you should do that which you are good at doing and which you'd enjoy tackling. What I'd like to see is some other periods/genres than sci-fi and medieval... but unless you have done research in Korean court robes, the baroque era, Incan gold jewelry, the Folies Bergere, whatever, and enjoy that style yourself it will be a lot of work to please a niche audience. If you do have a secret fondness for lace cravats or feathered headdresses, then by all means indulge it! Carolly
