Thanks Spurlock5...all good advice! Yeah, because I'm running Maya 3 and 4 (which run on Windows 2000), it seems that may be the happy medium here. I also like the idea of an additional drive to boot under NT...especially because I've been having a repeated problem with my system drive dying. Sort of a backup. Thanks, pdog
