I think you could probably make the space between the the ring using a transmap? Depending on what position you have your camera and props.........It would work just fine(: But I do have to say, that the last time I was at a circus, (that was a very long time ago) I do recall that the attendents did in fact, place the "missing" ring piece to complete the circle.
