Aside from the usual way of squiring offspring ;0), have you considered Daz3D's Millenium Kids? They're not that inexpensive, but surely less expensive than hiring a model. Should be tons of clothing, props, hair, etc. for them. I'm certain that it would eat into profits, but consider this "expenses". Maybe you could get some compensation for the investment (?). C makes it easy to shoot yourself in the foot. C++ makes it harder, but when you do, you blow your whole leg off.
