Hey Pendy, as you very well know there are "beta-testers" and then there are beta-testers. I know that some people test a product only to receive it freely and then lavish you with praise. Unfortunately, that doesn't help the merchant make a better product so that's a very good point you brought up. A good beta-tester must be honest and not think about the merchant's feelings, can you imagine the FDA not wanting to make a pharmaceutical company feel bad or inadequate? Now, for the others, a merchant can always use two great free utilities, one is Yarp's P3DO Explorer which has a plug-in to change .png's to .rsr's so if the merchant is on Propack he can easily do this in a few simple steps and laetia's Merchant's utility here at Renderosity that will check version number, path, make lists, etc. Sometimes it's a case of not getting the right information before starting out so hopefully your thread will help some on their way :))
