I'm sorry, Stewer, you're right. POV-Ray couldn't do true caustics last time I played with it. But I think it was able to do simulated ones. Or maybe I'm smoking crack. It does do refraction, though. I know because it screwed with me for days on an animation before I realized I was passing through a glass.
