Hi Paul, no i don't have this problem. Even when very often the menu bar is highlighted here as you describe it. This is new in 4.12 i think. Of course i do have crashes from time to time - like most of complex applcations does have (even Photoshop goes down sometimes). My feeling with Vue is, that it has mostly to do with display problems. Normally when i click too fast from one window to the next (or something like this) it could happen that Vue does not like it. Or, when the files become too big (more than 500 MB) it happened sometimes that Vue crashes while saving the scene. I have such a problem at the moment with one scene i am working on. This looks a little like a runtime problem to me. There you only can try to save your work always via "save as" into a fresh file and delete the old version manually. Not a big help really. Sorry.
