I think it's fear that makes max/cinema users try to intimidate Brycers/poserers. Fear of the fact that what they see as a toy in the right hands can be far more powerful than the monster program they use. Not only that but these programs are so easy to use compared to max/cinema & others that we users can do pretty much the same types of art they can in half the time & with half the effort. Can the highend modelling programs create the same types of 3d worlds that Bryce can without having to resort to expensive plugins? I don't think so.
