The problem with only buying the fileformat code would be that the buyer is forced to make a completely new program around it. Much of the science behind the bryce coding is still under copyright if you would only buy the format and not the rest of the program. Don't worry, Bryce will live on for a while even with the code still in Corels claws and without updates.
