I don't think it's about price or setting a limit of X bucks. You should ask yourself the following questions before buying anything. Do I need this? Is it unique? Is it worth the price? Can I find anything similar for free? If the item in question costs over $20 or $30 (like Mike 3 probably will), these questions become even more relevant. Everything you buy has a value in currency. It's up to you to get that value back out of it after you've bought it. Or not buy it at all. mac
