Ooo a debate! I must say that with all the participation this month it was difficult for me to keep up... and then with my state of mind during the majority of the month it was even tougher going..... Yes even supermods can't fly high in the sky all the time, sometimes they get stuck on the ground..... We did if you all remember have more than one category, Zone 1, Zone 2..... Which more or less broke people into beginners and advanced..... shrug Not sure I really like that idea and I'm glad it's gone to honest with you all. While it seems we've gone more from a challenge to themes, I kind of like it this way. Take a look at this month. I mean really look..... Some of these are very sophisticated and took a lot of thought. The theme did indeed challenge many individuals. Also realize in looking that not everyone got it....the theme was for some a hard concept to grasp, and so maybe some are not so abstract? But keep in mind, everyone of us is at a different level skill wise. For some concepts are hard to put into an actual image. I remember when I struggled with the Monthly Challenge for leading lines way back when. I just didn't get it....now I do...at least I think I do...but it took time, lots of thinking and lots of picture taking to finally grasp how leading lines work and how to use that concept in an image. My thought here is that individually we can make these as difficult or as easy as we want to on a personal level. So while I like your idea Donald, I'm not sure how we could actually get it to work. As it is we didn't get that many people voting, we usually don't. So how would voting twice work? BTW those ideas Contentment, Outrageous etc....they're great! why not add them to the list of choices anyway? They don't have to be Good Googa-Mooga for people to try them out do they?
