You won't see much on those screenshots - the most important parameters of the probelight node are only visible while editing them. Anyway, the probelight is probably only for those who are into tinkering and experimenting. If you're into it, you can take the source code that is provided at the link, compile it and use the resulting program to calculate the vector values for light probe files you can get at various places.
