Hi Folks Thanx for the advice I could not find the demo version of Norton system works anywhere on their site, but I did download and try the demo of file scavenger...and it only seemed to find jpeg files..no psd files. So that one was a no-go as well. I am bracing myself to accept that I really do not need those old files...and if I made something once, I can always do it again ....but it just sux! Thankfully these are products already made and in the marketplace...so I "should" not have to go back and refer to the original files...but I am a pack-rat, and do not like to throw anything away LOL I will keep seeing if there is anything I can do...but will try not to stress out about it :) Thanx for all the advice Rawn
