(yawn) I got the e-mail this AM and in all honesty, I could really care more. In the ensuing "dead air" period between the Windows release of P5 and now, I've learned how to do what I need to do using Carrara, sure Bones in Carrara is a bit wonky, but Carrara renders fast (especially the Beta of Carrara 3 -- once you tweak things and do a bit of figguring out stuff that's changed) and I can do modeling and animating in one program. Sure I would've loved to have used Poser, but I just can't escape the feeling that as a Mac user, I'll just be the redheaded bastard child that Curious Labs will feed when they remember. So my bottom line is I'd rather use a software package that truly supports the Mac platform (Carrara Studio) than one who does it when they "seem" to get around to it. That's how I feel and Curious Labs never replied to any of my inquiries. Besides, being newly laid-off, Poser's "uncertain" release date made it drop off my radar. The same thing happened with Animation:Master and I'm no longer updating that package, either. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
