A lot of people are not to knowledgeable on the technical end of things. This lack of technical education shouldn't be used to exclude them. Frankly with a warez copy you could re-install also. So it's just as likely to be either case. I prefer to error on the side of being less hostile and letting them know how they can get it off of their CD.
