I have to agree with Shoop. It's one thing to ask questions about the features that will/might be in the upgrade, it's another to be rude to Lynn, who is not obligated to come here and respond to our questions. Taking "pot shots" at her for trying to come here and answer questions about a pending update THAT ISN'T EVEN FINISHED isn't the way to communicate in a mature manner with someone who is genuinely concerned about users of the product.

I agree with her that Poser 5 is a really different animal from Poser 4, and since it took what, about 6 months or so? to get to SR2, the folks at Eon may have had to reinvent the wheel several times to rewrite code in order for Vue to function with Poser 5. Isn't it worth a bit of extra time to try and get it right? I've had Poser 5 since it first came out last September, and still haven't installed it because the software still has problems, from what I read over in the Poser forum. So I can imagine the headaches Eon has had trying to get things right between the two programs.

As far as "Boolean functions not being able to cope if one or both objects are moved after the function.", Petunia, I have never had this problem with booleans. Would be interested in more detail and perhaps some screenshots to illustrate your point. As far as not having an auto save function, none of the software I use has auto save, so I don't know why that is such a no brainer. Whether I'm using Poser, Vue, Bryce, Photoshop, PSP, I do incremental saves just in case.

My only concern has been that the update might fix the Poser 5 compatability issues, at the expense of compatability with Poser 4, but if that is the case, I just won't install it.
