Thanks for the comments. I've "seen" this one in my head for awhile, but had to wait until the PC sale to get what I needed. I wasn't sure about the direction of the eye, but it seems fluid in the final result, even if it's not following quite the way I tried to set it up. Hint re: the composer. He was fixated on death, but very much attached to life (hence the duality in colors). The lady in the painting is named Cecile. I'm not telling the image title -- that would make it too obvious. :D
