More than 66,000 unique members have logged on since the change. 7.5% of those have altered their background color. As to how many actually know where to update their colors - that would be hard to determine. But I would imagine that anyone that cares what the colors are to the point that they wish to change them would have enough gumption to ask the admins, mods, or other members how to alter their colors if they don't remember that feature upon sign up.
