I read somewhere (meaning: I'm making this up but I want to look like I know what I'm talking about) that DAZ Studio was secretly released to a chosen few so they could create renders with it. I also read (meaning: I'm really making this up) that you can send an e-mail to DAZ's super-secret mailing list (iwannabeasupersecretdazstudiobetatester@daz3d.com) and become a beta tester and get a free copy. And I heard from a reliable source whom I can't name (meaing: this is complete and utter bull) that Curious Labs is already getting scared over the release of DAZ Studio and that they are thinking of selling Poser to Adobe. There, that should start enough rumors and gossip for a while. Well, until next week, that is, when the next person asks about how to get DAZ Studio... even though a release date hasn't been announced and we have no idea when the program will actually be released.
