Yup, 512Mb in a laptop is a must! Mine came with 128Mb initially, and used to hang when I loaded a lot of stuff into P4, with 512Mb I was never able to crash it, (and that was with Windows Me) Since getting the desktop I've not used P4 much on the laptop, but given my experiences with P5 on a 2Ghz 1Gb desktop I'm not anxious to try it on my lesser PIII 700Mhz with 512Mb.
