Cinema imports obj:s fine. Poser obj:s are very small though so it is easier to handle them in Cinema if you magnify them, and then shrink them again if you want them back into Poser, try a factor of 1000. Just for inspiration go to Poserworld (link above) and take a look. I think that all those things are modelled in Cinema.
