Wolf359: Regarding your problems rendering a .rib file from Poser Pro 4 in 3Delight. This isn't really a good test of the renderer, because there are some problems with the .rib files that come out of Poser. To start with Poser uses the wrong path separator ( instead of /)...apparently there was some confusion with the Renderman spec around the time they were putting in the support. And the Renderman renderers I've used only want TIFF files, so you have to change that (and usually TIFFize your JPG textures). But even then there's usually some renderer-specific stuff in the file that needs to change. I've rendered .rib files from Poser in both BMRT and Aqsis. The files required minor changes for both renderers, but not the same changes. I think there is great promise in exporting Poser to .rib, and rendering it in a Renderman renderer, but it takes some work, it appears that not very many people successfully do it (or at least they don't talk about it), and I haven't gotten it right yet. So it may not be completely 3Delight's fault if it can't handle a raw .rib file from Poser. Be well... Lynn
