To start with Poser uses the wrong path separator ( instead of /)...apparently there was some confusion with the Renderman spec around the time they were putting in the support. IIRC, this change is only required for BMRT. In any case, he's using the MacOS X version which is using Unix style paths where Poser exports Mac style paths as used by the original Mac version of Pixar's PRMan.
