I talked to the "Admin" at work, and she's stumped too. I get the "do you want to save your password, blah, blah, blah, but it doesn't remember them. As for a re-install, this is my laptop with pre-installed XP. to reinstall would mean wiping everything out... not my first choice. Fortunately, this is only a minor inconvenience and probably for my own good. It's just that this IS a laptop and it never leaves my side. I'm just curious about these XP "features"...
