Now THAT'S a good idea! Of course, there'll be a lot of griping about free stuff providers being mistreated, blah blah blah. But it would certainly increase traffic to the Showcase. And it really makes sense: if you're looking for something, free or otherwise, you'd have one forum to browse rather than two.
