Ha! You know what might be a good idea, for those of us who have the exact problem you state here Cath? Any merchant posting anything in the Poser forum other than a question or an answer is suspect. I rarely post to the galleries anymore. I put my images in my own galleries, and my works in progress, if I choose to share them, go in my journal. It's informal, and not attached to my site. I don't sell anything beyond the occasional Ebay item, so it can't be considered commercial, and as my journal, it's about as personal as you can get. I find I actually get a lot more honest detailed feedback from the folks on my friends list of my journal, than in the forums. If a person who also happens to be a merchant always links to their site, all people ever see of them is the commercial aspect. My journal has a link to my site, but it is not about me as a merchant, it is about me as a person and an artist. Maybe people seeing a link to a personal page will make us people who happen to be merchants seem more like real people to those that have so many complaints. Maybe they will see that we are not just out there looking for new ways to grab their dollars, but are honestly passionate about the work that we do.
