Wow, that is quite a deal. I've been using Illusion (now particleIllusion) since version 1, very cool and extremely easy to use program. The SE version might be limited in some features but it's too cool to pass up for the price of a magazine. I'm up to version 3.0 now and it is fabulous. I use it for grabbing neat stills and making dinky animated gifs like the attached one since bandwidth for full size animations is too expensive, if you aren't making money from them anyway. I can spend hours just dragging emitters around in the stage area, tweaking settings and watching it! Awesome. No I don't get any kickbacks for saying that, I just appreciate good software that does what is advertised, adheres to Windows standards for an interface for the most part making it easier to get started even without reading the documentation first.
