I haven't seen Pirates of the Caribbean yet, but Johnny Depp is without a doubt the best actor in Hollywood today. (I exclude John Malkovich because he lives in France). Certainly the best since Dustin Hoffman was a kid. mac PS He was SO good in 'Ed Wood'. Oh, and 'Dead Man' by Jim Jarmusch. Brilliant movie.
